Works perfectly under Linux and Windows and I don't think you'll find on 
the market a more suitable device,
also if you ask really nice you can get them in different colors and if 
not you can anytime put a nice sticker on it.
Not the most cheap thing in the world but clearly less bulky than a 
keyboard ;)

I can truly recommend this for the folks that want to start tinkering 
with USB devices.
