Hi.

I am recommending to run smartctl --scan-open on smartmontools 6.2. It 
implements "virtual" bus syntax which is not mapped to the logical 
drives at all.

Logical mapping using /dev/sd* syntax is a little tricky. We only 
checking which physical controller it is and after this using unique 
device number on controller. So in your case same drive for different 
logical controllers is expected behavior.
