Pending Sectors, during LONG test

The last 2 times (If I recall correctly), I've gotten email from SmartD 
(FreeBSD 11) with complaints about the following 2 counters:

197 Current_Pending_Sector  0x0012   100   100   000    Old_age   Always 
       -       8
198 Offline_Uncorrectable   0x0010   100   100   000    Old_age   
Offline      -       8

Once the test completes, they seem(!) to go away.
