Hi Ryan, Please see http://www.smartmontools.org/browser/trunk/smartmontools/COPYING. If you distribute smartmontools, then you must give the recipients all the rights that you have. You must make sure that they, too, receive or can get the source code. And you must include the file COPYING so they know their rights. So in your distribution you (1) you need to make it clear that Smartmontools is GPL software and (2) include COPYING and (3) indicate where the source code can be obtained. If you have not modified smartmontools, you can satisfy (3) by pointing to the smartmontools web site. If you modify smartmontools, then to satisfy (3) you need to put the modified smartmontools web code on your company's server.
