There is support for Adaptec/PMC controllers behind the AACRAID driver on Linux and Windows. See '-d aacraid' option on smartctl man page, and: https://www.smartmontools.org/wiki/Supported_RAID-Controllers The original patches for smartmontools were provided by developers from PMC-Sierra: http://www.smartmontools.org/ticket/328 http://www.smartmontools.org/ticket/496 I don't know which specific controllers are supported.
