smartd issue for LSI megaraid controller (smartmonitoring tools 6.4)

Hi All, I am getting the following error when executing /usr/local/sbin/smartd -q onecheck . The issue is specific to smartd . smartctl doesn't have the issue. Also not all the disk connected has this issue . Only specific disks. Appreciate any help in this regard . Device: /dev/bus/5 [megaraid_disk_54], opened SCSI device Device: /dev/bus/5 [megaraid_disk_54], non-SMART asc,ascq: 94,1 I looked at the ASC/ASCQ code and below is the description . Looks like smartctl doesn't check for this ASC/ASCQ where as smartd check for this . ASC ASCQ Sense Key 94 01 5 Invalid Request Due To Current LUN Ownership The operation is not allowed because the controller does not own the logical unit. The user should change the logical unit's owner, or attempt the operation from the owning controller. Below are the specific details .
