I want to run smartctl -H from a perl script. Will smartctl set $? to a value corresponding to the console output message "SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED"? Or do I need to send the console output to a file and parse the output? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
