Smartd service in Windows

Hi there,
     I'm trying to get smartd to work in Windows 7 Pro x64.  I do:
smartd install
and it says
Installing service smartd: done
Then I type
net start smartd
and I get error 2, which is supposed to mean file not found, but the 
path is correct in the registry.

Any ideas?

I've tried both the bin64 and bin versions.
