/dev/sda and /dev/pd0 map to \\.\PhysicalDrive0, /dev/sda and /dev/pd1 
to \\.\PhysicalDrive1, etc.

See Windows disk management GUI (diskmgmt.msc) or output of "diskpart" 
tool for the mapping of actual drives to physical drive numbers.

The command "smartctl --scan" should show all device names, except NVMe 
devices and drives behind Areca and Adaptec RAID controllers. Try 
"smartctl -d nvme --scan" for NVMe devices.
