the first versions 0.0 and 0.1 of Linux-VServer appeared on 2001-10-02, 19
years from today. Happy birthday!

However, I wonder if there are older references. In some presentations about
container technology related to Docker/Kubernetes, the history of VServer is
dated back to 1999. This would make then even older than BSD jails, wich
appeared in BSD 4.0 in March 2000. Does anybody know of a source?
