[For those interested.] I recently noticed cron on one of our WB 3.0 servers stopped working. Nothing I did would fix it, and I could find nothing meaningful logged. Then I came across this in the U8 release notes... vixie-cron-4.1-11.EL3 --------------------- Thu Mar 16 2006 Jason Vas Dias <[email protected]> - 4.1-11.EL3 - remove unecessary 'session optional pam_krb5.so' from /etc/pam.d/crond I edited /etc/pam.d/crond as above, and restarted crond. Cron jobs run now. jerry
