You can't use an ISAPNP card with the *stock* 2.6.9 kernel shipped with RHEL 4 (and CentOS 4 and WBL 4). You will have to re-build the kernel from sources. You need to turn on CONFIG_ISAPNP and turn on the various ISA driver modules. *Even if you do that*, you might still have trouble. You might be better off just getting a PCI NIC. The Linksys 10/100 cards available at Radio Shack for US$30-US$40 work out-of-the-box. > > > > Regards > > Philippe > > > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > _______________________________________________ > Whitebox-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://beau.org/mailman/listinfo/whitebox-users > > -- Robert Heller -- 978-544-6933 Deepwoods Software -- Linux Installation and Administration http://www.deepsoft.com/ -- Web Hosting, with CGI and Database [email protected] -- Contract Programming: C/C++, Tcl/Tk
