LKML also says, gcc 3.3.x is bad for kernels (yet). My whole debian is compiled with gcc 3.2.3 also and there isn't a problem at all. But well, Marc: Don't compare Debian with SuSE ;-) Anyway, I'll upload v4.10s-pre6. Please give it a try first before you install an 'older^Wbut working' gcc :) Thank you.
