Wolk 4.10-pre6 smp cpu detection and initialization problems

Hi Marc,

I just booted with a kernel setup with maxcpus=8. Here is wat I saw:

- Booting with vga=0x317: hard lockup on framebuffer init.

- Booting with vga=ask: hard lockup shortly after initializing CPU #0.
There is no oops. The last lines seen are:

CPU#0: Calibrating delay loop ... 4784.12 BogoMIPS
Memory: 1023772K / 1048512K available (2120K kernel code, 20644K reserved,
403k data, 236k init, 196544k himem)
Dentry cache hash table entries: 131072 (order 8, 1048576 bytes)
Inode cache hash table entries: 65536 (order 7, 524288 bytes)
Mount cache hash table entries: 16384 (order 5, 131072 bytes)

Ideas ?
