Trustees has nothing to do with POSIX ACLs. It works on all filesystems
because it lives in the vfs layer. Users can't modify the trustees ACLs
because they are stored in a central config file and uploaded to the kernel
by a separate utility.

Also, trustees ACLs are recursive (a single rule applies to an entire
subtree).

The permission model is also slightly different.
