Hiall. This is the First time i write in this ML. First of All , this is really a great job, even if until now i could not use it at 100%. I'm experiencing a lot of problems about various kernel panics. first i tried wolk-2.6.5 v3.0 , everything ok, compiled well , even with some warnings, booted better and used wonderfully ... until reboot :( Any time i try to shutdown or reboot at the end of all halt-scripts after "remounting read-only file system" i get a Kernel Panic (i'm not able to copy it ... since obviously the System freezes :) ) about interrupt handler.... I've tried any kind of conf and options i could imagine about ACPI,APM, APIC,PCI Irq ... but nothing better, kernel panic when the system should only halt. So i decided to use 2.6.4-v2.3 .... and everything well, compiled, booted and ... rebooted :)!!! YES I SHOUT!!!! but just five minutes ago after about 3 days of uptime I get another kernel panic: "kernel BUG at include/linux/list.h:148!" I've googled around and i found some reference to this bug all answered by andrew morton talking about a problem about sysfs and suggesting some patches ... I'm not a kernel hacker so i don't know what to do ... but i never had this kind of problems with 2.6.4-mm ... Dows anyone had problems like this? thx a lot bye -- Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
