[ydl-gen] Upgrading YDL on PS3 cluster

Hi, I'm in internship in a company which has bought a cluster (composed of 8 PS3 nodes and a G5 head all running YDL 6.0) to Terrasoft a few months ago. I would like to upgrade YDL to YDL 6.1 on PS3 nodes. I used: yum --installroot=/var/lib/yhpc/images/myimage update and it worked. But when I reload the image and reboot, the old Linux kernel (2.6.22) is still used. Does anyone know how to switch to the newly installed kernel (the one in /boot/)? Thanks!
