I'd just like to put in my vote /against/ just going with a stage 2
release.  I built almost all of my systems stage1.  (With only one
exception actually, and that's cause it was an original Pentium
system with a very slow disk and I didn't have time to wait.)
I'd be rather put out if we supplied only the stage2 tarballs.
