loading c++ (unix)

Hi!

I urgently need this information. I am trying to load some c++ code
(including delete and new commands). It compiles (with gcc) and 
link okay. However, when I load it into Allegro 6.1 (Solaris), I get 
the following error:

Error: Loading
       somepathname/any.so
       failed with error:
       ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/alisp: fatal: relocation error: file
       somepathname/any.so:
       symbol __builtin_delete: referenced symbol not found.
