re: cl-http+asdf

at one point (from the write-date on the file it would appear no more 
recently than february) i did work with cl-xml together with asdf.[ 
just to try things out.]  i wrote a macro to rewrite the cl-http form 
system descriptions to asdf form. i've never tried it with cl-http, but 
it might help.
