Heh.  (I hadn't seen your cclan-list mail when I replied: I think
cclan policy is to try to support lisps which make an effort... but
also to keep workarounds to a reasonable minimum).  OK, what I'd
suggest is an additional "corman-lisp-patch" file, which doesn't sound
too onerous if Corman Lisp users are already going to be patching
their lisp.  Would it significantly increase the complexity of your
instructions if either (a) you asked people to load an additional file
after asdf.lisp, or (b) you asked people to patch their corman lisp
to add :probably-broken-fasl-loader on *features*?
