Hi Attila, I don't know SBCL but from where I sit (in Amherst, MA) it seems like wcu and the *bcl* should be separate issues. Another thought is that this reminds me that traverse is a big ball of mud. IIRC, the reason traverse doesn't use method-combination is because CLISP didn't used to lack support for it. I wonder if this decision should be revisited and then perhaps wcu could be applied more intelligently. Of course, altering traverse is a big job (and so a bit scary!).
