Re: [PATCH] add a RETRY restart to the MISSING-DEPENDENCY error

Does anyone have any comments on Luis's add-retry patch? If not, I'll  
pull this in later today.

(comments on the other patches are also welcome; I personally don't  
feel strongly either way)
