I didn't mean to imply there was a bug. I was wondering how to express
`if some of X_1,..,X_n have changed, Y should be recompiled, too'.

When I said `depends on' I meant `depends on', and not 'uses functions
that are defined in' (i.e. `depends on in the C sense'). But perhaps I
should've been more explicit and said ':depends-on' instead.
