sending HTML-formatted email messages from cl-http

I'd like for my cl-http application to be able to send HTML-formatted  
email messages, but I don't know how. Apparently the key point is that  
the message needs to flagged as being in "Multipart/Alternative MIME"  
format, but I don't see how to do that using the email functions  
provided by cl-http (I use www-utils:send-mail-from to send email).  
Any ideas?
