Yeah, we improved it a bit since then. It is at s422 - from s84.

CL-HTTP now supports multicore use on LispWorks, streams to multimedia data to iPhones/iPads, ...

We have not supported SBCL, but Karsten's code provides improved portability and should make it basically run on SBCL, but may need some more work.
