I'd like to create a freeware configuration of my cl-http based
system. People have been asking me if they could set up instances of
my system and often get stopped by the need to buy Lispworks to run it.
I was thinking of installing the latest ubuntu linux (10.10), the
latest CMUCL (Snapshot 2010-12), and the latest cl-http (70.217), on a
dual PowerPC G5.
Another option is to use Clozure CL. The latest version of Clozure
(1.6) currently does not run cl-http 70.217, but it may in the near
future. Is that a better option than CMUCL?
I'd appreciate any pointers on which option to adopt, and how to do
the install successfully.
Thanks!
Mark
