In some places the C structs are created from raw memory, I found that
e.g. in %MAKE-TREE-PATH and %WITH-TREE-PATH. Of course the alignment
rules have to be applied there too. Above function and macro are
probably the reason why the inspector triggers memory faults when an
item is clicked for the first time.

And while you work on gtktree.lisp;-): the TOGGLED signal sent by
CELL-RENDERER-TOGGLE calls its slot for some reason with the string
representation of a TREE-PATH. This is Gtk, so it should not be
changed, but a binding for gtk_tree_path_new_from_string would be
quite useful. Or did I oversee it somewhere?
