Would be fine with me.

BeOS itself is no longer in use since probably 2003 or so.
Haiku, the free-software clone of BeOS, is being developed by a small group
of hackers. Running clisp on Haiku is probably not a priority for anyone in
the world.

The larger part of the BeOS-specific code in clisp (unix.d, unixaux.d, stream.d)
deals with the fact that they did not fully integrate sockets into the
file-descriptor system. No other OS does this, and I bet that no other OS will
do the same mistake. => Feel free to ditch that BeOS-specific code.
