Hi,

How comes this pops up now only?
I see other SW packages fixed as early as 2009 (e.g. LP#418392 and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityTeam/Roadmap/ExecutableStacks mentions Ubuntu Karmic and Lucid).

How was the offending binary built? How was it tested?
