As I'm close to make a prerelease, and have already tested many Debian
platforms, I would like to hear about the problems you encountered

Yes, my focus has not been on threads and jit so far. After the 2.50
release, my focus will be on Windows portability, the build system,
the warnings, https support. Won't get to multithreading in the next
3 months.
