BDB module, Berkeley-DB version support

Hello, I’m trying to get up and running with the BDB module, but I’m having trouble. Specifically, I’m stuck at the stage of compiling Berkeley-DB <=4.8 on OSX, which appears to be the latest supported release. It seems sensible to try to use the latest version which is still compatible with the module.
