hello.
I'm trying to get clue to build, with cmucl, on a debian/sid system
it seems that i may have to port the clue defsystem file for this[1].
i'm wondering if someone would know:
what exactly are the purposes of the 'hack-precom' function, and the
related clue defsystem modules, in src/gui/clue/clue.system ?
i have no idea what "PCL's percompile 'feature'" is, really, or what
'hack-precom' would do, within the mk-defsystem mechanism, that the
ordinary defsystem operations wouldn't -- besides adding 'precom' to the
source path ??
thanks; looking forward to some CL/CLUE GUI work

Footnotes:
[1] for cmucl-clx, in debian/sid, the mk-style system file has been
replaced with an asd-style one; however, the clue mk system needs a
cmucl-clx mk system in order for clue to build in cmucl; so, the build
breaks.
also, the 'module' system-component type isn't supported by vanilla
asdf
