Well, a first step is to send here the problems that you find with GCL 
and DEFSYSTEM.
If we don't get feedback we cannot try to fix the problem.  So if you 
have patches send them in and they will be considered.

Please note that in the case of GCL (whose status I am not so familiar 
with), if the problem lies in GCL ANSI conformance, then the patches 
will not be accepted.
