Hello, A debian user got into problems because he killed off his emacs while sbcl was warning him about some ignorable problem in his code. Afterwards that system could not be loaded anymore because the fasl was corrupt. Maybe perform should first compile-file the source to a temporary file and only rename it to the correct output file at the end?
