convert cvs to a dvcs?

I propose that we convert the clocc cvs repo to a distributed version control 
system.
there are only two real contenders, git and hg: both are stable feature 
complete and fast, and both are used by major projects, so we know they are not 
going away.
personally, I prefer hg - a single executable beats the crap out of 144 git-* 
commands.
any objections?
