I forgot to send my footnote.  Basically, I have a slight preference for
git because git.el works way better than mercurial.el in xemacs.

Yeah, that's what the two week period is for.  Get the repo right.

I don't have sufficient privileges to do this, and I've never converted
a CVS repo to hg, so maybe I'm not the one.  And I've only been using hg
for just a week or so.
