CVS failure

I can log in to Sourceforge as usual, but when I try to commit some
changes via CVS, "permission [is] denied."

$ echo $CVSROOT

[email protected]:/cvsroot/clocc

$ cvs add debug.lisp tracearound.lisp
[email protected]'s password: xxxxxxxxxx
Permission denied, please try again.

It's been that way all afternoon.  Is the CVS site temporarily down or
blocked somehow?
