A general introduction to CLOCC

Dear List members,
May be it is just me, but I can't find a documentation that describes the different parts of CLOCC, what is the purpose of them or what can be done with them. I really think this is a must for any newbie, and common lisp needs newbies to thrive, or else all that the gurus have worked for will be lost down the road. 
I'm composing a journal in this regard and appreciate any help or suggestion
