I suppose you could do it this way, but I was thinking about modifying
the Fortran code.  That way you can regenerate the lisp code whenever
you want.  f2cl isn't bug-free, after all. :-(

And by modifying the Fortran, you can still run the test programs to
see if you did something really stupid.  If you modify the non-working
lisp code, you'll take forever to make it work and still not be sure
if you do get it to work.
