Hi Dominic,

I've tested your patch and it works fine on odbc/postgresql on linux.
Unfortunately, I've not been able to test on odbc/mysql/linux because
of an incompatibility with my current version of myodbc and
libmyclient.

However, given the improvements of your patch, I'm going ahead and
releasing it with CLSQL 3.5.0. Nice work on your part.

If anyone has the ability to test with odbc/mysql (on either linux or
windows), I'd appreciate a report of your results.
