I (think I) fixed that; it looks like the &optional got spuriously
dropped somewhere.

I also added a missing encoding argument where it looked like it should
be. I can now compile that file with no warnings, but I don't have an
oracle installation I can test with.

Can you pull from git master and see if it works?
