Running clsql on Windows with Mysql

Afternoon -

I am trying to use clsql with Lispworks 7.1 32 bit to connect to the Mysql
5.5.57 community server on Windows, and in doing so I keep running into the
following error:

The following error has occured: Foreign function
MYSQL:CLSQL-MYSQL-FIELD-FLAGS trying to call to unresolved external
function "clsql_mysql_field_flags".

I have double checked that the clsql_mysql.dll file is in the right
location to be loaded and tried manually loading it using the
(uffi:load-foreign-library ..) function, and I am still getting the same
error. So I am thinking that there is a problem with the dll included in
the package.

I then tried to recreate the dll using cygwin with the make file included
but that resulted in an error message when running, and I tried to use the
cygwin gcc command line options to manually recreate it but that is also
giving me errors when trying to create the dll file.

Does anyone have a current version of the clsql_mysql.dll that is working
for them or could put me on the right path to re-creating it?

I not sure if it matters or not, but the foreign-function call is
referenced in the mysql-sql.lisp file in the function
make-type-list-for-auto.

I am using the clsql version "clsql-20160208-git" that quicklisp retrieves.
