RFC rampage (was: Re: Couple of Lisp hacks)

Very impressive.

Over the weekend I began working on a parser for vCards and vCalendars.
After getting a sufficiently working version (I can parse the vCard
database that Ximian Evolution uses, and nearly the vCalendar database),
I thought I'd check the RFCs to see if they had been IETF standardized.

Well, they had (2425/2426 for vCards, 2445 for iCalendar--a revision of
vCalendars) and so I've set about changing things to be conformant with
those standards.  I don't have too many illusions of getting the
iCalendar transport and communication standards working (2446 and
related), although that would be the next logical step.

Sadly, the machine on which I develop the code does not currently have
access to the 'net; it will in about a month or so, at which point I'll
be more than happy to share the code with anybody who wants to see.
