I just can't stop writing articles - and this one is about Smalltalk no less... We recently discovered Seaside, which is a Web Application Framework for Squeak Smalltalk, and it simply blew us away. That's why I wrote a short article about it: 'A Day At The Beach' describes our first exploration of the Seaside Web Application Framework for Squeak Smalltalk that offers a dramatic improvement in abstraction and productivity. http://homepage.mac.com/svc/ADayAtTheBeach/index.html There is a link with Lisp though: the underlying concept that makes Seaside so special - using continuations to hide the request-response cycle of HTTP and present it as a natural linear flow - is actually a (re)implementation of concepts that originated in the Scheme community...
