"portable"-clx is as far as I know not currently expected to work out
of the box with CMUCL (what tends to happen instead is that Eric
Marsden reads this list and steals fixes he's interested in to apply
to the separate CLX port that lives in CMUCL CVS).  Is this all that's
necessary to make it work?  I'm kind of surprised if so, but I'll
apply this patch like a shot if it means we can add CMUCL to the
supported implementations list.
