clxman as docbook xml?

Just wanted to float the idea of translating the CLX manual sgml sources
into docbook SGML/XML.

Would there be any objections to doing so?


Advantages:
  1) make PostScript, PDF and, HTML from the same manual sources .. no big 
     deal? 

  2) would use a ~common DTD, that some folks are already familiar with

  3) would use the DocBook DSSSL stylesheets, for controlling the
     transformation from the sgml/xml source into {format-x}



Disadvantages:
  1) it's a change from the way it's currently being done
  2) others?
