These are all the documents I know of.  Have you looked at
src/docs/interface/toolkit.tex in the CMUCL sources?

I think you really need to know how to use Motif since clm is, I
think, a fairly straightforward interface to Motif.  I have a vague
memory of having written some kind of hello world for clm long ago,
but if I actually did, that code is long gone.  Sorry.
