Hi Paul, this seems interesting and reasonable, but how can I perform some worldbuild with that core ? I suppose I should perform some worldbuild in OSF, correct ? But I have problem to build the alpha frontend (I mean the lisp C part) to kernel.core... Am I missing something ? thanks, Fausto 2014-09-08 0:39 GMT+02:00 Paul Werkowski <[email protected]>: > FWIW, > > I have been following this thread and can't help but having deja vu > from almost 20 years ago working the X86 port cross compiled from Alpha/OSF. > I have not read the current cross compile scripts so maybe > this is in there, but one thing I remembered from back then and use > in my own builds is that after a successful cross compile resulting > in a kernel.core, I would have to (starting with that core) do two or > three more worldbuilds each using the kernel.core from the preceding > build so as to flush all remnants of the cross compile out.
