CVS problem

Whenever I try to "cvs export" something, I get this:

  cvs [export aborted]: unrecognized auth response from common-lisp.net:
  cvs pserver: /project/adw-charting/cvsroot/CVSROOT/config [14]:
  warning: duplicate LogHistory entry found

I get this regardless of what repo I'm trying to export. For example, I
have the message with beirc.

What can I do to troubleshoot?
